Zoll & Legal has designed a Professional Certification Programme offering individual certifications in:

  • Dispute resolution procedures relating to the AfCFTA legal instruments.

These certifications cover the requirements and guarantees mandated by international and national standards, as well as the ISO 9001 quality management standards.

 

Individual Certifications Available:

  1. ZL Certification “MCCD”: Certification in Management of Customs Controls and Disputes.
  2. Certifications in Dispute Resolution linked to AfCFTA Legal Instruments:
      • Certification in Mediation, Conciliation, and Good Offices AfCFTA (Certification ZL “MCBZ”).
      • Certification in Settlement of Commercial Disputes related to AfCFTA instruments (Certification ZL “MRDCZ”).

 

In partnership with the Pan-African Centre for the Settlement of Investment and Trade Disputes (CPRDIC) (Port Louis, Mauritius), Zoll & Legal provides high-level certification training in Mediation, Conciliation, Good Office, and Preventive and Curative Management of Commercial Disputes related to AfCFTA instruments.

Certification Levels:

Level 1 (Accessible to All):

Includes theoretical and practical assessments and is open to:

  • Transit agents, company managers, lawyers, advisors, consultants, importers/exporters, and agents in financial institutions.

Level 2 (Certification):

Direct access for professionals with at least two years’ experience or training certificates in customs and transit. Eligible professionals: transit executives, customs agents/consultants, supply chain experts, and instructors in customs/transit.

Training and Evaluation Model:

  • Duration: Six months
  • Structure:
    • 40% theoretical learning.
    • 60% practical application.

Evaluations:

  1. Theoretical Assessment: Written and oral mastery of key concepts.
  2. Practical Assessment: Mastery of customs procedural acts and risk management.
  3. Certification: Final harmonization and validation of skills.
